Driftwood Mirror

One of my favorite things to do is go beach hunting in search of treasures and of course driftwood. Each time I pick up a piece my mind is filled with stories of how it came to be. Creating the mirrors is an exploration of textures, shapes and natural colours. I puzzle them together with my trustee nail gun to create layers that meld into a 3 dimensional piece of nature’s art.
